EMDR Alcohol Addiction Counseling

About EMDR Alcohol Addiction Counseling

EMDR treatment for alcohol addiction counseling is not only great for alleviating anxiety, depression and PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder) symptoms. It is also a very quick and effective way to become addiction-free from any and all addictive chemicals or compulsive behaviors. As an EMDR alcohol addiction counselor, my goal is to help you overcome addictions quickly and effectively.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) treatment utilizes the power of the subconscious mind to help you stop the compulsive, negative behavior, just like hypnotherapy does, but without long inductions. It also takes fewer sessions to achieve lasting results.

How can EMDR help?

The focus of EMDR treatment is on replacing the negative behavior with consciously chosen, desired behavior. This is done by desensitizing the triggers that tend to lead to doing the negative behavior and strengthening the desired behavior in the subconscious mind. This means that all parts of your being are working toward the desired result–being addiction free. With EMDR treatment the client learns simple tools to use between sessions to maximize success and minimize relapse.

I would love to help you on your journey of healing as your EMDR Alcohol Addiction Counselor.
